New Wimbledon Theatre

Fancy a fabulous, fun-filled night out?

Join us for the stage adaptation of the much-loved 1997 British film:

THE FULL MONTY

Celebrating the film’s 30th anniversary, Simon Beaufoy’s hilarious and heartfelt play brings Gaz and the lads back to the stage for a major UK tour.

Set in Sheffield during the closure of the steelworks, the story follows six unemployed men who are desperate to earn some money and regain their pride.

After seeing how popular a visiting group of male strippers is with the local women, Gaz comes up with a bold idea: they will put on their own strip show — and go “the full monty!”

There is just one problem…

They are not dancers, they are not particularly confident, and they certainly do not consider themselves stripper material!

What follows is a wonderfully funny and touching story about friendship, family, body confidence, dignity and finding the courage to carry on when life has knocked you down.

The cast includes:

Kevin Clifton as Gaz
Stewart Wright as Dave
James Gaddas as Gerald
Ben Onwukwe as Horse
Jon-Paul Bell as Guy
Zrey Sholapurkar as Lomper

Expect plenty of laughs, 1990s music and, of course, the famous final performance!

The production contains adult themes, partial nudity and references to suicide. Age guidance: 14+.
